About John

John received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and holds law degrees from the University of San Diego and the University of California, Los Angeles. He began his career as a prosecutor in Los Angeles County, California before moving back to Utah and working as a prosecutor in Weber County. During this time, John conducted more than 50 jury trials and gained extensive experience in a wide variety of cases from minor misdemeanors to the most serious felonies. The types of cases he handled included domestic violence, DUI, theft, fraud, assault, sexual assault, child molestation, and murder. His knowledge and experience, gained through more than a decade of practice, is a tremendous asset to his clients. 

Throughout his career, John has seen how important knowledgeable and vigorous representation was for clients who struggled to make sense of the criminal justice system. He knows what arguments work with judges and how to approach prosecutors on your behalf.
