About John

John received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and holds law degrees from the University of San Diego and the University of California, Los Angeles. He began his career as a prosecutor in Los Angeles County, California before moving back to Utah and working as a prosecutor in Weber County. During this time, John was one of the more active trial attorneys in his office who conducted a significant number of jury trials while gaining extensive experience in a wide variety of cases from minor misdemeanors to the most serious felonies. The types of cases he handled included domestic violence, DUI, theft, fraud, assault, sexual assault, child molestation, robbery, and murder. His knowledge and experience, gained through more than a decade of practice, is a tremendous asset to his clients. 

Additionally, John has had a passion about estate planning since taking his first classes on the subject in law school. He's passionate about making sure people are protected from the unanticipated troubles that life can throw at them. 

When John is not at work, he loves spending time with his family, watching football, and getting outdoors to photograph the beauties of nature. 

John is licensed to practice law in both Utah and California.
